      RefinedTheme for Confluence Server

      Description

We would like to edit the <head> section so we are able to add meta tags, for example.

Some add-ons, i.e. SEO-Manager (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.playsql.seo-manager/server/overview), force users to manually edit the main layout in the standard Confluence design (See https://documentation.play-sql.com/display/DEV/SEO%20Add-on%20for%20Confluence for details). This is currently not possible with the RefinedTheme.

      Hi all,
Thank you for your input regarding this. As it stands now, we’re not moving forward with this ticket. Our suggested workaround if you want to add custom HTML to the HEAD section is to add it under Confluence Administrator > Look and feel > Custom HTML.
This will allow you to add custom HTML and scripts but not use velocity markup.

In a future release of RefinedTheme, we’ll also be adding a HEAD section for the RefinedTheme equivalent custom CSS/HTML option available under RefinedTheme Configuration > Themes as an option if you only want to add the customisation for themed parts of your instance.

      Best regards,
      Dennis Andersen
